

Rolando M. Escobales, 76, of Waterbury, more recently of Bristol, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 8, 2025. Rolando was born May 24, 1948, in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico, a son of the late Jose and Nancy (Roman) Escobales. He was the beloved husband of the late Ana Escobales, for 28 years. He was one of 5 siblings Jose Escobales, Judith Matney, Raymond Escobales, and Milka Escobales.
Rolando is survived by his three daughters, Mincy Escobales of Plantsville CT, Loida Mills of Waterbury, CT and Romi Coit of Wolcott, CT.
Rolando was a workaholic – never taking a vacation and always keeping busy. He worked many years as a truck driver, and after retirement he kept busy helping at a local soup kitchen in Waterbury for 15 years. In which he was well known for helping out others in need. Any free time was spent perfecting his meticulous lawn, tending to the plants, shrubs, flowers and his homemade koi pond. While on the water he loved fishing and boating, and on land; riding around on his Harley Davidson motorcycle and playing pool. He was an avid pool player.
