Many nieces and nephews so many beloved friends.
Jenny developed a love of fishing and the water as a child in Virginia and brought it to Texas with her as a young girl. She grew up in Denison and was baptized as a youth. She raised her children with their father in Pottsboro, TX. They were active as a family in scouting, attended Hagerman Baptist Church and fished whenever they could. She began her career as a volunteer at Preston Fire Department and spent more than 22 years proudly serving as a Paramedic/Firefighter with several local departments.
Jenny and Chuck fell in love and were married June 5, 2005. They loved to spoil all their grandkids and were blessed to spend lots of time with Evan who shared the same birthday as Jenny. They enjoyed eating out, lots of movies and TV, music and of course fishing. Their morning quiet time was special to Jenny and they read through the Bible this last year. They are members of Calvary Baptist Church in Denison but spent the last several years fellowshipping at the Refuge. Chuck and Jenny supported each other through several critical health scares and were an example of strength and loyalty to all who know them.
Jenny was brave, smart, funny, talented in all kinds of crafts and a little quirky at times. She knew her time was near in the last few days and would tell anyone who would listen that her God was near. She would want you to know that she trusted her future to Jesus and that you should to. She is dearly missed by all who love her. Rest with Jesus till we see you again sweet Jenny.
Celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday January 19th, 2021 at Bratcher Funeral Home in Denison, Pastor Richard Hayes officiating, interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
