Edwin Grover King, born the son of the former Joseph Edward and Evelyn Adkins King July 11, 1955 in Salisbury, Maryland. He was the grandson of the former Grover and Clara Hearn Adkins and Thomas James and Elinora Simms King. He is survived by his wife, Christine Lee King and his daughter, Maranda King and Ben Baker. Grandchildren—Ellie and Mark Flamos and Kora Baker. He is also survived by a sister Linda King. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Barbara Bailey, sisters-in-law Elizabeth Bailey, Josie Brown and nephews Gregory and Joe Brown. He is also survived by many cousins and their families.
He graduated from Wicomico High School 1973 and 2 year later graduated from Delaware Technical and Community College with an Electrician Associates degree.
He loved to help others and be their support, LOVED to farm and just wanted to be in the field and drive the tractor. He loved all animals and especially his aquarium. Edwin never met a stranger and could make a friend with anyone.
He started farming with his father and always enjoyed talking farming with his Uncle Bunk at Thanksgiving and Christmas. In his early years of farming he did custom spraying. Over the years he and Chris built the farming operation to one of the biggest watermelon growers in Wicomico County.
