Adolph Lopez Jr. – Houston, TX – Adolph passed away on February 15, 2021, at the young age of 77. He was born in Austin, TX on September 27, 1943. He was the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Sr. and Santos Lopez.
Adolph retired from the City of Houston, after 22 years of service after previously working as a small business owner and the auto repair business. He was a self-taught master woodworker. If you went to his home often, you could find him laboring away in his workshop. He loved the art of precisely joining crafted wood pieces together. Often, creating special pieces for family and friends. Adolph loved the outdoors and went fishing as much as possible.
Adolph is survived by his best friend and loving wife, Esmeralda. He was a hero to his seven children: Annette Lopez, Susan A. Kimble, Yvonne Campos, Patricia Rousseau, Adolph Lopez III., Santos Lopez, Christine Siner, son-in-law’s, daughter-in-law’s, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson Christian Michael Lopez (who he adored).
There isn’t enough words or space to tell of who Adolph was and the lives he impacted. He was an unfaltering husband and father. He loved to spend time helping anyone who needed a hand. Join us in paying your respects:
