Born and raised in Lynn, MA, she was a daughter of the late Roland and Rebecca Henry. Phyllis graduated from Lynn English High School, and then went on to raise her beautiful family in Lynn as well.
In her free time, Phyllis worked at the Blueberry Patch, volunteered at the Lynn Union Hospital, and was a dedicated member of the Wesley United Methodist Church. Phyllis was a caregiver to many throughout her lifetime, and was admired by all who knew her for her loving spirit. Her door was always open, welcoming anyone into her home for freshly baked cookies and conversation. Above all else, Phyllis loved her family. She cherished being a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and the memories she made with them will live on.
Surviving Phyllis are her children, Stephen Kenerson and his wife Eileen, and David Kenerson and his wife Lisa; her dear granddaughter, Christine Langlois and her husband Jon; her beloved great-grandchildren, Cameron and Riley; her brother, Charles Henry and his wife Janet, as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Arrangements: Friends and family are invited to call at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St., Lynn, on Monday, March 1st from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Burial Services for Phyllis will be held privately.
