Chris was born in Hamtramck, MI on March 29, 1922. She graduated from Hamtramck High School in 1940.
She married George Krisko of Taylor (Scranton), PA on March 16, 1942 at Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church in Hamtramck, MI., and they were married for 61 years before his passing in 2003.
Chris is survived by daughter Marlyn Judge (Peter) of Madison, CT, son Gregory Krisko of Rochester Hills, and four grandchildren: Jason Judge (Laura) of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Scott Judge (Jennipher) of Austin, TX, Ted Krisko (Hayli) of Wyandotte, MI, and Caitlin Krisko of Asheville, NC. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, Jason Judge Jr., Tyler Judge and Eric Judge, and was "Aunt Chris" to many nieces and nephews.
Chris was predeceased by sisters, Ann, Helen, Stella and Wanda and brothers Stephen, Stanley and John.
Chris was a member of St. Irenaeus Catholic Church in Rochester Hills, and a member of the OPC in Rochester where she enjoyed meeting new friends alongside the pool for many years. She had a passion for living a healthy lifestyle as was displayed by swimming and her cooking, and she had an incredible taste in fashion and style. She was an exemplary role model and an inspiration to many people of all ages. When asked what kept
her young, her response was always: "gratitude, swimming and oatmeal."
A funeral mass for Chris will be held on Wednesday, March 24th, at 11 AM at St. Irenaeus Church, 771 Old Perch Rd, Rochester Hills, MI 48309. She will be instate from 10:30 AM until time of service.
