Jean is survived by her daughter, Stacie-Ann, son -in- law Andrew, grandchildren Ajani and Shane; brother, Maurice (Mickey), sister Carole (Miss Ann), brother Allan; nephews and grandnephews and grandnieces.
Jean was born on May 25, 1942 in Kingston, Jamaica to Gilbert and Lynette Haughton-James. She attended St. Hugh’s High School in Kingston. Jean worked for almost 40 years at JPS (Jamaica Public Service) in Kingston, Jamaica in Personnel/Human Resources, where she developed deep and long lasting relationships. She married Clive McCullock in January 1974 and had her only child Stacie-Ann. After her departure from JPS she worked closely with her brother, Mickey, helping to manage his gym in Kingston, Jamaica before fully retiring.
Jean’s grandsons were the apples of her eye, her favorite pastime was spending time and being around them. She loved plants and flowers. She was a caring and generous individual who touched the heart of all she came across.
No service is set at this time. The family will have a small memorial service in Jamaica at a future date. An online tribute/remembrance ceremony will be held in the upcoming weeks, details are forthcoming. The family would like to thank all the many friends, family and caregivers for all the tremendous support over the last month, with special appreciation to Shernette who was with her and her daughter in her final days.
