On Monday, March 29, 2021, James Darrell Hall passed away at the age of 63. James was born on January 7, 1958 in Lucedale, MS to Charlie and Lela Eleanor Stewart Hall. He graduated from Mary G. Montgomery in 1976. He attended the University of South Alabama and graduated with a teaching degree in 1980. He taught in several schools with Mobile County Public Schools System and in George County as well. He also served as a foster parent for a period of time.
James had a passion for playing his piano. He dearly loved his church and his church friends. He was an active member of the Fountain of Life Church in Saraland, AL.
James also enjoyed going to Mardi Gras parades, the beach and taking road trips. Family time was very special to him. Holidays were always spent at his brother Charles and Becky's home, surrounded by other family members.
James was preceded in death by his father, Charlie and his mother Lela Eleanor Stewart Hall. He is survived by his brother Charles J. and Becky Hall, niece, Melissa Hall, nephews, Jeremy/Jandi Hall and Evan Hall. He is also survived by his great nieces, Caroline, Katherine, Layla and one great nephew Levi.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home-Saraland with funeral services beginning in the funeral home chapel at 12:00 Noon. Interment will follow in Indian Springs Cemetery.
