Pauline Aquilina, age 93, of White Lake, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 3, 2021. Left to cherish her memory are her seven children: MaryAnn Aquilina, Mario (Jackie) Aquilina, Doris (Richard) Aquilina-Truba, Maurice (Judy) Aquilina, Sandy (Larry) Druar, Lorraine (Tony) Longhurst, and Nancy (Rik) Kowall; her ten grandchildren; and her five great-grandchildren.
Pauline was born June 6, 1927, in St. Julian’s, Malta, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Carmel and Mary (Vella) Tanti. She and Andrew Aquilina were united in marriage on June 23, 1951, and together, they moved to the United States when Pauline was just twenty-four years old to start their new life together. Pauline was a wonderful stay-at-home-mother; caring for her children as they grew up. She and Andrew shared fifty-six wonderful years together until Andrew’s death on April 9, 2008. Strong in her Catholic faith, Pauline was a devoted parishioner at St. Perpetua Catholic Church in Waterford. She was a kind, loving, and caring woman who always put her family and her faith first. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, Carmel and Mary; and her loving husband, Andrew Aquilina.
A private prayer service will take place for Pauline at the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, White Lake Chapel. Pauline will be laid to rest at All Saints Cemetery on Friday, April 9, 2021.
