He was born in Portland, Maine on July 22,1946 a son of the late Eugene & Shirley (Lund) Perry. He grew up in Portland and attended local schools.
He married the love of his life Gloria J. (McLean) Perry on December 31,1964 and remained married for 51 years until her passing in 2016.
Randy enlisted in the U.S. Army in August of 1964 and was stationed in Germany. After serving his time in the service he joined and served in the national guard for many years. He was very proud of his service to his country.
Randy enjoyed his weekly meet ups with his many friends at the local Dunkin Donuts. Always quick with a joke and very witty he loved to put a smile on your face. He was also an avid cribbage player and invited whom ever was up to the challenge to join him in a friendly game. He loved classic country music and reading was a favorite pastime of his.
Randy is survived by his daughter Terry Cuomo of Otisfield, Maine; his daughter Tammy and husband Hank Jacobs of Westbrook, Maine; a son Joseph Perry and his wife Stacey of Old Orchard Beach, Maine; a sister Brenda Palmer of Pocomoke, Maryland; a sister Sharon and husband Mark Andersen of Scarborough, Maine; a brother Darrell Perry and his wife Carrie of Windham, Maine. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Randy was predeceased by a son-in-law; David Cuomo.
He also sadly lost his constant companion and canine friend Sally in recent months.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service with military honors on June,15 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Niche wall in the Veterans Cemetery 143 BlueStar Ave. Augusta, Maine.
