He taught his children the art of fishing and the joy of listening to loud music. He was a proud “grandpopper” to his grandchildren, and his crazy antics and jokes will be missed by many.
Monty was preceded in death by his father, George D. Freeman and in-laws, Teotirno and Genara DelaCruz.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Leonila (DelaCruz) Freeman; mother Carolyn (Bolin) Freeman; children, Lynyrd Freeman (Brittney) and Genie Heldt (Stephen); grandchildren, Aydyn, Aysa, Briyley and Braelyn Freeman and Cash, Cruz and Chase Heldt, and siblings, Donald Freeman (Karen), Ronda Keethers (Joseph) and Daryl Freeman.
A Funeral Service will be 3:00 p.m., Monday, April 26, 2021 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261. Friends may visit after the service on Monday until 7:00 p.m. Burial in Sunset Memorial Park will be at a later date.
