Born in Brenham on July 18, 1926, Jean is survived by four sons Robert (Bob) White & wife Penny, Ross White & wife Glenda, Randall White and wife Misty, Russell White & wife Tammie. Jean is survived by one sister – Mildred Tuten, of Louisiana and by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, nephews and one niece. Preceding her in death is her loving husband of 64 years, Donald Eugene White. Partners in life, Don and Jean began as high school sweethearts and married during World War II when Don joined the Marines. They built a happy and successful life together one journey after another. Also preceding her in death are her parents Gustav and Elsie Moench of Brenham, TX and her sister Kay Chandler of Jacksonville, TX.
Jean and her sister Mildred drove to Brenham High School in a Model A Ford – no walking through ice and snow for them! She was crowned “Miss Camp Swift” in 1943 winning a beauty contest at the Army base in Bastrop county and worked at the Rationing Board Office supporting the war efforts from 1942-1943. While raising four sons, Jean worked a variety of roles from bookkeeping to retail, at banks, Sears & JC Penney, auto dealers, NASA and even ran the family motel in Sealy, TX.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday May 15, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Forest Park East Funeral Home in Webster, TX.
