David Joseph-Robert Freville, 38 of Holt, Michigan passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on April 21, 2021. He leaves behind his wife, Kristy Freville; his daughter Sally Freville; and his sons Chandler Freville, Seeley Freville and Layne Langell.
David was born on February 4, 1983 in Lansing, MI, to father David S. Freville and Robin Freville. He grew up in a close, loving family in Mason, MI and graduated from Mason High School in 2001. In early 2001, David started working at UPS where he continued to work over the last 20 years, building a strong relationship with his UPS brothers and sisters. David had a strong love for hunting and fishing. With that love, he built a strong friendship with his “brothers” at Not Just Guns. David will always be known for being such a hard worker and the willingness to help anyone in need. He loved his family very much and his children and family were his world.
David is survived by his wife Kristy Freville and children Chandler, Sally, Seeley Freville of Holt and Layne Langell of Evart; his parents David and Robin Freville of Okemos; sister Danielle (Michael) Freville of Haslett; brother Garrett Freville of Lansing; nephew Drake Hargrove and Darla Murray of Haslett; Grandmother Lupe Wilson of NC; Uncle Dan (Tina) Shepard of NC; Aunt Dena (Dan) Torrez of Caro; Uncle Darrell (Sharon) Wilson of NC; Cousins Aaron (Lindsey) Shepard of SC, Mitchell (Tawny) Wilson of GA, Tanner Torrez of Caro, Dylan (Terry) Wilson of TN; Adam Russell of KY and Nicole Russell of KY. Many cousins, second cousins, special friends, acquaintances, and UPS customers. David was preceded in death by his grandmother Sally L. Freville of Caro, MI; grandfather Robert Wilson of Santee, SC; Grandfather Francis S. Freville of Caro, MI; Aunt Franny Russell of KY and cousin Shawn Russell of KY. David will be cremated. His ashes will be interred at Maple Grove Cemetery with a private family service. A celebration of David’s life will be held on June 6th at Noon at the Not Just Guns training center, 411 N. Cedar Rd.
