Thanks Jim for being a true friend and business associate for 47 years. We shared many good times together especially with Margaret at your side. May you Rest In Peace.

Jim was one of the first neighbors I met when I moved to Briarwood. He was in his front yard pruning some shrubs and invited me in to meet his wife, Maggie. It was an immediate friendship for me, and we shared many happy times together. They were always welcoming to me and we shared common interests. 
Jim always entertained us with tales of his long career in the tire industry. He proudly wore his class ring from his alma mater, Akron University. My son met Jim and they shared an interest in old cars...especially their tires! 
I will miss Jim and I am grateful to have had the honor of his friendship. Although I have moved to another state, I look forward to staying in touch with Maggie.

To my sister Maggie, James and Aurelia,  Jim was a great brother-in-law and was always  a gentleman. He was also a wonderful host at his home for many dinners and parties and always smiled when he saw me and made me feel welcome.  He was an important member of our family and will be greatly missed.  May you Rest In Peace dear Jim. 

Dear Margaret, James and Family,  Your loss is so great and my heartbreaks for you.  
Cousin Jimmy has always been an important part of my life. 
 As a kid growing up we always looked forward to him coming to our house to visit with his cousin June.  He was that tall, handsome, curly headed 2nd cousin of mine.  On one particular time when I was about to turn 13 (a long time age), I overheard him asking mom…. what can I get Cindy for her 13th birthday…. murmur was all I could hear…. not being able to hear, could it be an alligator (why I thought that I have no idea).  What Cousin Jimmy gave me on my 13th birthday was my first bottle of spray perfume.  I felt all grown up all of a sudden and loved my gift.
Cousin always kept in contact with mom, either on the phone or visit…. In more recent years he would call me or one of my sisters to see how things were going and would asked me to tell sisters that he loved us all.  He just wanted to see that everything was ok with his Ohio cousins. That’s the kinda guy he has always been. 
Cousin Jimmy will forever be loved and missed.

I have been privileged to have met Jim when Lou and I moved to Briarwood condos 4 years ago, and I felt a special closeness to Jim right away,  always enjoyed visiting with him and Maggie specially in the summer on their deck. I know you are at peace in heaven Jim and maybe met St. Pio 😇 ….  free of any ailment, and watching over your wonderful wife Maggie ❤️  We will meet again someday 🎶💞



I cannot begin to thank Jim enough for all the memories and his expert mentoring and friendship.  We worked together with Hercules for a few years but maintained our friendship for all the years after talking usually on the phone every month exchanging stock market ideas and updating each other on friends and family.  My wife Catherine and I will never forget the great times we shared on a Mediterranean Cruise with Jim and Margaret and all the memories we will keep in our hearts.  Margaret, please know that we are with you in thoughts, prayers and love during this difficult time.  We will never forget Jim and will think of him daily.

I've known Jim for 62 years and we became immediate friends from day one! Both of us were from the same town-Akron Ohio. We had a lot in common..... sports, the stock market and many lunches together. We enjoyed going to the Detroit Lion football games and Detroit Red Wings games. He was smart and spoke his mind and gave me excellent advice with investing. He studied the market with great skill....when to buy and when to sell. He was proud of that college ring on his finger and I couldn't blame him. He had the desire to obtain his degree from Akron University, something I was unable to do but wished that I had. To sum up, Jim was a great guy, great husband to his wife Maggie, to which he often spoke of lovingly. I'm going to miss him a lot, as I know friends and family will too.

Margaret, I was so, so sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. 😪 Len and I are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers as you go through most unbearable time. I hope you find some comfort in knowing he waited to be home with you. 💙. All our love to you, Dodi and Len Lewis
