Fu Chi Ming Robert, 77, of East Windsor, NJ, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021, in his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Shanghai, China, to the late Fu Gee Ching and Chen Lai Ying, Robert was a loving, devoted, and selfless family man. He was a pioneer who bravely ventured across the sea to America without knowing any English, and sequentially sponsored his entire family: Fu Gee Ching, Chen Lai Ying, Fu Chi Wing, Chan Kam Fung, Fu Whee Fan, Chan Wan Li, Chan Wan Yan, Chan Wan Wai, Fu Yuet Ying, Wong Tse Ming, Wong Lung Fuk, Wong Wah Fuk, Wong Lin Li, Wong Hak Kan, Fu Kar Ming, Cheung Kan Sang, Cheung Yuk Lam, Cheung Po Lam, Cheung Sai Lam, Cheung Wai Leung, Fu Chi Chun, Fu Chi Lun, Fu Yue Yin, and Fu Foon Yue, to enter the United States for a brighter future.
Robert was a beloved husband for 47 years to Fu May Ping Sandy, loved father of Christopher and Andrew, treasured father-in-law of Christina, adored grandfather to Ian and Alexa, devoted brother of 8 siblings, and admired uncle to 19 nieces and nephews. Robert had a tireless, industrious spirit to provide for his family. He was immensely generous and easygoing, and did not ask for much as he appreciated all things in life. With the most loving and purest heart, Robert cherished nothing more than spending quality time with family and traveling on cruises with his closest friends.
