Patricia “Patty” Toce, 70, of East Hartford, beloved daughter of the late Oscar and Raymagilda (Massita) Toce, lost her battle with cancer on Friday, May 28, 2021. Born in Hartford on October 28, 1950, she had lived in the area all her life. She graduated from Greater Hartford Community College and worked at Travelers for 25 years and then MetLife for 17 years prior to her retirement in 2012. Patty loved bowling with her brothers and celebrating birthdays and gatherings with family and friends. She always had a place in her heart for cats, and provided a home to many of them throughout her life.
A loving sister and aunt, Patty will be forever missed by her two brothers, Nicholas Toce of Mansfield Center and James Toce of Southington and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, William and Oscar Toce and three sisters, Barbara, Maryann and Angeline Toce.
Calling hours will be Tuesday (June 8) from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. concluding with a Prayer Service at 12:15 p.m. at the D’Esopo-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
