Priscilla born, January 20, 1942 to Mr. Walter E and Mrs. Dorothy V. Talbert (Stringham) in Davenport, Iowa. grew up in a houseful of siblings with two sisters and one brother. Priscilla met and married John R Lindsay and together they moved several places following his Air Force Career raising five children. John R Lindsay Jr. (Jackie), Allan M. Lindsay (Darla), Diane DeRoch (Dan), Steven Lindsay and Linda Lindsay. Priscilla enjoyed many things from drawing and painting to making wedding dresses and Halloween costumes. The outdoors is where you could find Priscilla on most occasions, she was an avid bicycle rider in her younger years to hiking mountain trails or tending to her garden of vegetables, planting flowers and trimming rose bushes. Priscilla had a strong faith in God and a special passion for all of nature's beauty. Being a cat lover, there was never a stray cat around her house. She loved and protected her four legged friend, Marley for many years but always made sure the neighborhood cats were fed as well. Family was so very important to Priscilla and she would stay in touch by sending birthday cards to each of her eight grandchildren (Tina, John, Heather, Matt, Nicole, Chris, Tosha, Joshua) and 22 great grandchildren, Dylan, Skylar, Zander, Amara, Stephanie, Abigail, Norah, Tate, Andrew, Samuel, Nicholas, Ileana, Izac, Ella, Alli, Jayden, Decklyn, Izaiah, Taelynn, Adalynn, Emberlynn and Aiden. Judy Hemenover, a longtime family friend, held a special place in Priscilla's heart as well.
Priscilla is survived by two sons and one daughter, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and preceded in death by her parents, ex-husband (John), son (Steven), daughter (Diane) and great-grandson (Tate).
The services, officiated by Matt Kelly (grandson) will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary and Cemetery, Wheat Ridge, CO with gravesite services to follow immediately at the same location. A Reception will be held at Anderson Park (4355 N. Field Street) following the gravesite conclusion. A Go Fund Me account in Priscilla's name is set up in lieu of flowers to help offset final expenses.
