We mournfully announce the passing of Barbara ' Bobbi' Felecia Carmean, 65, of Everett, WA. Barbara joined our Heavenly Father, surrounded by her husband and children on October 8th, 2021 following complications from her first round of chemotherapy for stomach cancer.
She was born to parents Samuel and Dolores on April 20th, 1956 in Tacoma, WA. She was the second born, but the only daughter with 4 brothers to keep up with (Samuel II., Anthony, Patrick, and Steve). Eventually the family relocated to Denver, CO in 1960. Little did Barbara know that relocation would set her on the course to marrying the love of her life, Harry Carmean.
Barbara met Harry in 1964 playing softball in the neighborhood. Their friendship blossomed into Love and eventually married on April 27, 1974 in Denver, CO. Barbara graduated from Highland High School in 1974.
Together they went on to raise 3 beautiful children; Lisa, Matthew, and Cassie.
The family relocated to Everett WA in 1989 establishing new roots in the Pacific Northwest.
Barbara held a variety of professional roles for over 30 years at Eddie Bauer, Safeco, and Premera. She connected deeply with many coworkers that have become lifelong friends to her. She successfully retired in 2019 welcoming a new chapter allowing her to invest even more of her time to what she cherished the most; her Husband, three Children, four Grandchildren, and two Grandpups.
Additionally, she loved spending time in the garden, solving word puzzles, crocheting, and cheering on her Seattle sport teams.
Barbara is joyously reconnecting with her parents in heaven. She is survived by her husband Harry and the families of their three children: Lisa and Tim Sarbu with Rylee, Audrey, and Kelsey of Lake Stevens; Matthew and Callie Carmean with Marcus of Snohomish, and Cassie Carmean with Lola and Rocko of Snohomish.
A Life Celebration for Barbara will be held at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills, in Lynnwood Washington on November 6, 2021 at 10am. Appetizer reception immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks you to please consider becoming a Blood Donor and/or donating to The Epilepsy Foundation in her name. Barbara was a committed blood doner to BloodWorks NW and was a supporter of The Epilepsy Foundation.
