Albertine R. (Picard) Levesque, 82, beloved wife of Real Levesque, of Southington died on November 13, 2021 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut, New Britain. She was born in Canada to the late Paul and Delphine (Theriault) Picard on May 5, 1939. Albertine and Real enjoyed a long and happy marriage, spanning 63 years, they shared many Saturday date nights and breakfast together every morning. A devout Catholic and devoted parishioner of St. Dominic Church of Southington, she attended Mass weekly and the Rosary on Mondays. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life, spending time with them and her family was her true passion. She was known for being humble and treating others with kindness. In addition to her beloved husband, Real, Albertine is survived by her children: Darlene Bossi (John) of Bristol, Paula Sabbagh (Dean) of Plainville, and Dominic Levesque of Southington; grandchildren: Jennifer, Kristina, Jonathan, Matthew, Brooke, Jordan, Keith, Dominic Jr., and Emma; great-grandchildren: Ivy, Meadow, and August; her surviving siblings Nelson Picard (Muriel) of Windsor Locks, Conde Picard of South Windsor, and Marieange (Normand) of Meriden; and many nieces and nephews. Albertine was predeceased by her siblings: Christine, Aurel, Lionel, and Edmund. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday at 9:15 AM from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home to St. Dominic Church for 10:00 AM, 1050 Flanders Rd, Southington. Burial will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery on Belleview Ave. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington, on Thursday from 4PM-8PM.
