Aleta Nancy Huser,71, passed away on November 12, 2021. She was the daughter of Alton J. Huser, Sr., and Fleta McDaniel Huser and the oldest of three children. Aleta was a graduate of A.L. Miller Senior High School in 1968. She continued her education at Wesleyan College in Macon, GA, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in 1972. Aleta retired from the Federal Department of Transportation after a distinguished career of service to several federal agencies.
Aleta relocated to Savannah in 2014, where she was a devoted friend and neighbor. With a sharp mind and an appreciation for hard work, she began a second career with Kroger. Aleta dedicated much of her free time and energy to volunteering with animals and was known for her kind and compassionate spirit. Her faith in the Lord always remained important and she lived a life filled with grace.
Aleta was preceded in death by her father, mother, sister, Janet Susan “Jan” Huser, and brother, Alton J. “Jay” Huser, Jr. She is survived by her sister-in-law, niece, nephew, and cousins. She will be greatly missed by her many family and friends.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Reverend Curtis White officiating.
