Lucille Ordzowialy, nee Sanchez, 83 of Chicago, IL; passed away Sunday, April 25, 2010; dedicated Chicago Crossing Guard for 43 years; beloved wife of the late John Sr., W.W. II Veteran; loving mother of John Jr. (Tina) and Vincent (Susan); dear grandmother of Dean, Joshua, Katherine (Gustavo) Leon, Paul and Emily; great-grandmother of Donovan; fond sister of Isidor Sanchez, preceded in death by Cayetano, Julia, Isabelle, Frank, Felipe, Joseph, Juan and Jessie; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Lucille met her husband at Union Station in Kansas City, MO when he was going off to Europe to fight in W.W. II. They became pen pals and the relationship flourished and they married in Chicago in 1950. She was a loyal Kansas City Royals and Chiefs fan.
