Funeral services for Thomas Wagner Shadoin, age 84, of Conroe will be held on Monday, February 14, 2011 at 3 p.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Dr. Cliff Herrington officiating. Interment will follow in Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, February 13, 2011 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home.
Thomas was born November 14, 1926 in Benson, Louisiana, and passed away on February 8, 2011 in Conroe, Texas. He served his country in the U. S. Army during WWII and it was at this time that he made the decision to become a pharmacist. Throughout his career, he worked as a pharmacist at Quinn’s Drug Store, Wilson Discount Pharmacy and Scott Medical Center Pharmacy. He was a long time Conroe resident.
Thomas is survived by his sons, Thomas W. Shadoin, Jr. of Conroe and George A. Shadoin II and wife Angela of Ooltewah, Tennessee; step-daughter, Linda Wilkison and husband Chuck of Western Grove, Arkansas; grandchildren, Rebekah Shadoin, Andrew Shadoin and David Gray; former wife and close friend, Ann Walker of Hot Springs; nephews, Sterlin Barton and Fred Barton.
