She was retired from the Greene County School System.
Mrs. Peek was a member of Horse Creek Church of God.
She was a loving, caring mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was a faithful and loving minister’s wife for 50 years and was known as “Momma MaeBelle” to many children of the church.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law: Trish and Carl Garber, Sharon Wills; two sons and a daughter-in-law: David and Kim Peek, Tim Peek; three grandchildren: Nathan Peek, Justin Wills, Dillan Peek; two step grandchildren: Carla Todaro and husband, Paul, Chad Garber and wife, Ashley; five step great grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law: Evelyn and Herbert Reagan; one brother and sister-in-law: Cyrus and Golda Dockery; sisters-in-law: Helen Green and Katherine Davis; brother-in-law: J. D. Peek and wife, Dora; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Norvell Peek; her mother, Cora Lee Dockery; two sisters, Frances Stillwell and Nora Ann Dockery.
The funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2012, in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel.
Rev. David Watson and Rev. Bobby Morrison will officiate. Interment will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery for the committal service.
