Margaret Lewis Anderson - was born in Frisco City, Alabama on April 5, 1929, to Benjamin and Mamie Lewis. She has been a resident of Mobile for the past 70 years. She worked in the laundry business until she retired in 2002. She was called home to eternal life on April 7, 2012, surrounded by family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her two brothers, Ulmer and Oit Lewis; her two sisters, Tennie (Manuel) Young and Mary (John) Blocker.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Leon) Myers; two grandsons, Todd and Scott (Lori) Myers; four great-grandchildren, Braxton, Cameron, Aleah, and Annsley Myers; two nieces, Linda Wood and her son, Jeff (April) Wood and Linda's grandchildren, Dalton and Clara Tatum Wood and Pam (Wayne) Webb and her daughter, Sarah and Pam's granddaughter, Adrianna; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the employee's of Saad's Hospice, especially Ella, for the love and care that they gave Mrs. Anderson.
The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until 2 P.M. on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, with Reverend Roy Hill officiating.
Pallbearers will be Leon Myers, Todd Myers, Scott Myers, Braxton Myers, Cameron Myers, and Jeff Wood.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Stroke Association or the Alzheimer's Association. Interment will be in the Satsuma Cemetery.
