Francis A. “Frank” Travisano, 84, of Toms River passed away on Monday November 12th, 2012 at Holiday Care Center in Toms River. Born and raised in Kearny, he also resided in North Arlington and Harrison prior to moving to Toms River in 1994. He was a Korean War Navy Veteran serving from 1950 to 1954 and was a member of VFW Post 10185 of Berkeley Township. Frank owned Travisano Trucking in Harrison for many years and later worked for UMDNJ as a Security Supervisor. He also volunteered for the Holiday City First Aid Squad. He was predeceased by his brother George Travisano and son-in-law Owen J. Walsh. Surviving are his loving wife of 59 years Constance Giordano, daughter Barbara C. Walsh of Morris Plains, son Frank Travisano and wife Lee of Bayville, grandchildren Joseph, Erica, Valerie, Daniel and Ryan, sister Sally Sessa and husband Vince, brother-in-law Frank Giordano, sister-in-law Carol Rucinski and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday November 18th, 2012 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Quinn Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday November 19th, 2012 at 10:30am at St. Maximilian Kolbe R.C. Church in Toms River. Interment will follow at the New Jersey Veteran’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Frank had requested donations be made in his name to the HCFAS at 100 Port Royal Drive Toms River, NJ 08757.
