Charles “Bradley” Hoven – a native of Mobile, AL and resident of Saraland, AL died Tuesday, December 11, 2012. He was a 2008 graduate of Satsuma High School. He played baseball for Saraland Dixie Youth during his childhood and later played for Satsuma High School from 2004-2008. He was a Saraland Dixie Youth Coach for the past three years. Bradley was an avid hunter, fisherman, racer and Alabama football fan. He raced at Sunny South Raceway for several years. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles Hoven, III; great-grandfather, George Jernigan; great-grandparents, Arnold and Ethel Glasscock; great-grandparents, Homer and Ruth Cagle; great uncle, Billy Jernigan; and uncle, Jamie Orso. He is survived by his parents, Conny and Amy Hoven; one brother, Brandon Hoven; girlfriend, Tiffany Newburn, and her parents, Donald and Janet Newburn; grandparents, Diane Hoven, Alford and Sharon Glasscock; great-grandmother, Beatrice Jernigan; aunts and uncles, Keeli (Bo) Martin, Lisa (Wayne) Jordan, Rhonda (Edward) Landrum, Lori Glasscock and Cory Glasscock; cousins, Tyler Glasscock, Britlly and Billy Powell, Brittney, Ashley and Anna Landrum; Lyndsey Bentley and Jami Jordan; and a host of other family members and friends. Visitation will be Friday, December 14, 2012 from 5-9 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. Funeral services will be Saturday at 12 p.m. from College Park Baptist Church with visitation at church beginning at 10 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Caleb Knight, Jesse Knight, Kolby Spicer, Logan Spicer, Matt Maherg, Brandon Mann, Christian Loden, Ken Coleman, Brad Jones and Justin Tanner. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Pitts, Donald Newburn, Bo Martin, Edward Landrum, Wayne Jordan, Cory Glasscock and the 2008 Satsuma Varsity Baseball Team and Coaches.
