Juanita D. Addison – age 87, born in Birmingham, AL, a native of Chattanooga, TN, longtime resident of Saraland, and current resident of Cumming, GA passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2012. She retired from Mobile Infirmary after 28 years of service as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Mrs. Addison was a longtime member of Pathway Ministries and ministered for many years at the Home of Grace. She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Lois and Thomas F. Gentry, and husband of 57 years, Fred W. Addison, Sr. Mrs. Addison is survived by her children, Fred W. “Pete” Addison, Jr., Noah Addison (Lisa), Mickey Addison, Theora Lusk (Perry), and Mellissa Hammons (Mike); 15 grandchildren, Dale Addison, Toye Addison, Paige Addison, Lynn Addison, Gus Addison, Blakely Addison, Nita Elmore (Terry), Amy Addison, Jessica Wendling (Lance), P.J. Lusk, Pierce Lusk, Joshua Hammons (Quinn), Mindy Ryan, Holly Doggette (Jeremy), and Faith Hammons; 18 great-grandchildren; 1 great, great-grandchild; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from Pathway Ministries on Saturday, December 15, 2012, at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Friday, December 14, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
