Olivine E. Tufano, 83 of Citrus Springs, Florida passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 in the loving care of her family and Hospice of Citrus County. Ollie was born on Wednesday, November 20, 1929 in Attleboro, Massachusetts to John and Bernadette (Lacasse) Schreiner. Olivine held a B.A. Degree in Early Childhood Education from St. Joseph's College in Brooklyn, New York. She was a homemaker and moved to this area 20 years ago from Ozone Park, New York.
Ollie was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Citrus Springs, Florida. She enjoyed dining out, puzzles, wildlife and adored her family, especially her grandchildren.
Ollie was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Tufano in 2011 and sister, Irene Leister.
Survivors include her daughters, Marie Korsiak and husband John of Citrus Springs, Florida, Olivine Ellis and husband Steven of Broad Channel, New York; sons, Patrick Tufano and wife Karen of Fishkill, New York, Michael Tufano and wife Sandi of Lake Ronkonkoma, L.I., New York; brother, Richard Schreiner and wife Helen of Ocala, Florida and grandchildren, Samantha Korsiak and Jon-Pat Korsiak of Citrus Springs, Florida, Alyssa Tufano and Jenna Tufano of Long Island, New York, Nicole Ellis and Steven Ellis of Queens, New York, Chrissy Morello and Nikki Visciglia of New York.
Visitation, Monday, January 7, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Fero Funeral Home. Funeral Mass, Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Citrus Springs, Florida. Interment will follow at the Florida National Cemetery.
