Vincent William (Babe) Keller, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and brother-in-law entered rest on January 2, 2013 at the age of 93. Vincent was born on October 8, 1919 in LaCoste, Texas to William and Mary Keller. Mr. Keller honorably served in the U.S. Army during WWII, where he primarily was a overseas translator, being fluent in five languages. He also was a lifetime member of the VFW Hall 8134 in LaCoste, Texas. Vincent worked primarily as a train dispatcher for 44 years for Southern Pacific Railroad. Vincent and his wife together led the rosary at Holy Spirit Catholic Church for over 20 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Rose Keller; sisters, Evelyn Jungman and Henrietta Kempf. He is survived by son, Michael G. Keller; grandsons, Michael A. Keller and wife Renee, Jered R. Keller and wife Catherine, W. Vincent Keller; great-grandchildren; Ethan M. Keller, Sophie Keller, Elizabeth A. Keller; brother, Marion Keller and wife Betty; sister, Hortense Kroeger. He will be remembered by his family as a humble and dedicated family man and will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends at 6:00 p.m., Monday, January 7, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers for a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at St. Luke’s Catholic Church.
