Emma Skolkin 82 of North Palm Beach, FL formerly of Lakewood, New Jersey passed away Sunday, January 27, 2013 surrounded by her family. Emma was the loving wife of Edward Skolkin; mother to Mark (Holly) Skolkin, Debbie (Matty) Schwartzseid, Larry (Diane) Skolkin, and Tami Battle. The other loves of her life were her grandchildren, Alan, Michael, Emory, Dayna, Meghan, Ryan, Erica, Rachel, Lindsay, and Amanda. Emma was born November 7, 1930 in Trenton, NJ and graduated from Point Pleasant High School in 1948. She married her High School sweetheart, Ed and together they raised their kids in Lakewood, NJ, where she worked in the public school system. They then moved to Monmouth Beach, NJ where she worked for E.A.I. as a program analyst. Upon retirement, Emma & Ed followed their dream and moved to Florida to enjoy their happy ever after and did they ever! They celebrated 62 anniversaries together traveling all over the world alone and with family & friends. Emma’s passion was her family and she was there for them for every problem, joy and special occasion. She will be missed greatly but will now be in death as in life, our guardian angel.
