He was a member of the local 587 Boilermaker International Brotherhood where he served as the assistant business agent and president. Juggy also was a member of the VFW, American Legion and the Pentecostal Church of DeQuincy. He was a veteran who served our country in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was Justice of the Peace in DeQuincy. Juggy was a loving, caring, giving person, and an avid fisherman.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Fontenot Grove; 2 sons, Johnny Grove and wife, Becky, Scotty Grove and wife, Teresa; 2 daughters, Belinda Hollingsworth and husband, Johnny, Melanie Kellogg and husband, Billy; 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Eunice Grove.
His Homegoing will be at 3pm Tuesday, April 2, 2013 in the Pentecostal Church of DeQuincy. The Rev. Wayne Neyland and Rev. Alvin Smith will officiate. Visitation is from 5-9pm Monday at the church and will resume 10am Tuesday until service time. A Tribute service will be at 7pm Monday. Burial will be in DeQuincy Memorial Park.
