Joe Edd Lambert was born January 2, 1943 in Lufkin, the son of Mildred (Modisette) Lambert and the late William Hayden Lambert and passed away June 15, 2013 in a Tyler hospital.
He was a siding contractor in the construction industry. He was the owner and operator of 18 wheelers and had worked for Lufkin Industries. He was a veteran, having served his country in the United States Navy.
Survivors include mother, Mildred (Modisette) Lambert of Lufkin; daughter, Ouida Jones of Grand Saline, TX; son, Buddy Lambert of Mineola, TX; daughters, Deidre Smith of Wells, TX, Judy Carnes, Joy Caldwell, Rhonda Becerra; former wife, Ruthie Chote, all of Grand Saline, TX; brother, Jerry Clark Lambert of Utah; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces; and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Hayden Lambert; wife, Betty Lambert Johnson; sister, Joyce Foster; and great-grandson, Daniel Weston Redd.
