Ernest E. Brannan – A native of Citronelle, AL and longtime resident of Satsuma, AL died Saturday, June 22, 2013, at home. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served during WWII. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Ivy and Flora Brannan; and the love of his life, Dorothy “Dot” Bailey Brannan. He is survived by his children, Joe Brannan (Cathy), Leon Brannan (Kay), Charles Meinhardt (Debra), Tommy (Bobbie) Brannan, and Dotty Pipkin (Neil); sisters, Mary Tims, Anna Estes, and Ruth Blake (Tom); brothers-in-law, H.R. Bailey, James Bailey, and L.M. Knapp; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was a kind, loving, and Godly man who will be greatly missed by all. Visitation will be Monday, June 24, 2013, from 5-8 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. from the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers are Shon Pipkin, Jamie Covington, David Skoglund, B.J. Newburn, Derek Hovell, and David Brannan. Honorary pallbearers are Jerome Guy, Frank Trahan, J.R. Nell, Charlie Broadhead, and Wilbur Price.
