Born in Jersey City, NJ, Raymond was a resident of Port St. Lucie, FL for 7 years, moving from Newark, DE.
During WWII, Mr. Bissig served in the US Navy.
Prior to retirement, he worked for NY Telephone in New York, NY for 36 years.
Raymond was a member of Morningside Church in Port St. Lucie, FL.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Anna Bissig.
Survivors include his wife of 3 years, Caslin Bissig of Port St. Lucie, FL; one daughter, Gail Baker and husband Earl of Port St. Lucie, FL; two grandchildren, Tara Steele, Adam Baker; one step-son Michael Hardware of Port St. Lucie, FL and one great grandson, Noah Steele.
Visitation will be Friday, August 23, 2013 from 2PM-8PM at the Aycock Funeral Home, Port St. Lucie, FL.
A Funeral Service will be Saturday, August 24, 2013, 11AM at Morningside Church, Port St. Lucie, FL, with interment following at Fernhill Memorial Gardens, Stuart, FL.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Raymond's honor to American Cancer Society, 865 SE Monterey Commons Blvd., Stuart, FL 34996.
