Armando Aaron Salazar, 25, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013 at his residence in Hebbronville, Texas. He was born on July 29, 1988 to Adolfo Salazar, Sr. and Diana Gonzalez Salazar in Laredo, Texas. Armando was a Firefighter for the Jim Hogg Fire Department and was known by his family and friends as big-hearted jokester who loved to make everyone laugh. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Luisa C. Salazar and his uncle, Tomas Salazar, Jr. He is survived by daughter, Karla Salazar of Bruni, Texas; father, Adolfo Salazar, Jr. of Hebbronville, Texas; mother, Diana Salazar of Zapata, Texas; two brothers, Adolfo Salazar, Jr. and Daniel (Ashley) Salazar; sister, Ilene Luisa Salazar all of Hebbronville, Texas; paternal grandfather, Tomas G. Salazar, Sr. of Hebbronville, Texas; maternal grandparents, Armando and Delia Gonzalez of Zapata, Texas and his godparents, Carlos Javier and Maribel Flores of Zapata, Texas. Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Hebbronville. Funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville. Burial will follow at the New Hebbronville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Adolfo Salazar, Jr., Daniel Salazar, Rolando Gonzalez, Betito Salazar, Jr., Oscar Flores, Javier Marroquin, Travis Sharp, Ivan Mejia and Rudy Santos.
