He was born in Mexico Maine on May 4, 1934 a son of Nina Gaudet and Thomas J. Buotte, Sr.
Tom was educated in Mexico Schools and was a graduate of Mexico High School.
He was self-employed. Tom served in the US Army during the Korean War.
He was a communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior.
Tom was a member and past commander of the VFW, a member of the American Legion, and served as Grand Marshall at the 2013 Memorial Day Parade.
He loved fishing, hunting, carpentry and traveling to visit his family in Alaska, Texas and PEI.
Surviving are his companion of 28 years, Nancy C. Arsenault of Dixfield; Thomas P. Buotte of Alaska and Debbie Buotte of Rumford, Donna M. Wiggin and husband Pete of Texas, Lorie A. Buotte of Texas, and Michele Clark and husband John of Clinton, ME; sisters, Elaine Gurschick of Turner, Beverly Waugh and husband Eugene of Mexico, Vivian Buotte of Mexico, and Lillian Kellogg and husband Bob of Rumford, brother, Bill Buotte of Mexico; sister in law Debbie MacArthur of PEI Canada; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents, a son Daniel, two sisters, Colleen Buotte and Judy Woods, and three brothers, Norman, Clarence and Dennis.
