Born April 1, 1944 in Dover Ohio to Ray and Nell Burrier. Passed away October 10, 2013 in Roseville CA, with family by his side. Through the years Fred held a number of jobs from Welder to Butcher. He finally settled on being a Locomotive Engineer for the Southern Pacific Railroad and ending his 34 year career with Union Pacific. In his late teens he met, then married his devoted wife of 48 years Edie Arrowood. Known for his great sense of humor, love for Rock n Roll and insatiable quest for fun, Fred enjoyed spending time and traveling with friends, watching sports and seeing his grandchildren grow up. Fred leaves behind his loving children Patty Pistole (Tony) and Steven Burrier (Tassi). Five grandchildren, Melissa, Chase and Brittanie Sherk, Brian and Sam Burrier, Brother Charles (Paula) and many close friends. There will be a memorial service at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, 8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks, Ca 95628 at 10:00am, Friday, October 18, 2013 with a celebration of life to follow at the Roseville Moose Lodge, 506 Lincoln Street Roseville, Ca 95678.
