Private services for Henry “Hank” W. Norman Jr., of Hamilton Street in Ogdensburg, will be held at Foxwood Memorial Park at the convenience of his family. Mr. Norman passed away at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center on Friday (April 11, 2014) surrounded by his loving family.
He is survived by his wife Elizabeth “Betty” J. Kiah of Ogdensburg; a daughter Debbie Farrand & her husband Andrew of Lisbon; three grandchildren Andee Rose Farrand, Noah Garnsey & Laura Garnsey and one great-grandson Kamden Smithers and a brother-in-law Larry Kiah of Ogdensburg.
Hank was born on September 20, 1937 in Ogdensburg, NY a son of the late Henry W. Norman Sr. & Eleanor (Abbott) Norman. He graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy, and married Elizabeth J. Kiah on October 5, 1957 at St. John’s Episcopal Church. He was employed at Acco Brands for 35 years as a machinist and retired 1995.
He was a member of the 32nd Masonic Shrine, The Elks Club, AmVets and Odd Fellow in Ogdensburg. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, deer hunting, family dinners, watching TV, telling storied & jokes and spending time with his family and friends.
