Shirley retired from Salisbury University where she worked as an administrative assistant. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Robin P. Finley and her husband Gary; son Gerald “Micky” A. Perry, Jr.; four grandchildren, Gram P. Burkett and his wife Kacy, Erin E. Finley, Michael “Micky” D. Perry, and Justin T. Perry; three great-grandchildren, Ella Burkett, Avery Burkett, and Max Scott; brothers, Paul and Richard Carmine; sisters, Linda Smith and her husband Edward and Barbara Banks; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Gerald “Jerry” A. Perry; son, Roger Perry; and sister, Judy Stephens.
A funeral service will be held Friday at 2pm at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Springhill Memory Gardens.
