George Kuric, 92, of Center Township, formerly of Beaver Falls, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018 while under the compassionate care of Good Samaritan Hospice. George was born May 2, 1925 in Koppel, son of the late John and Mary (Mazurka) Kuric.
He retired as a crane operator for Babcock and Wilcox Steel after 45 years of service. George was a former member of the East Palestine Loyal Order of Moose and a member of their golf league. In his leisure, George enjoyed traveling and an occasional trip to Mountaineer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife: Julia (Carley) Kuric and his second wife: Doris (McKee) Kuric; his brothers: Michael and John Kuric; and sister: Mary Berger.
George is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law: Georgina (William) Davison, Baden; Andrea (Brad) Scheidmantel, Center Township; two grandchildren: Carly (Todd) Hartranft, Hopewell; William (Lisa) Davison, Powell, OH; four great grandchildren: Liam, Karsen, Lilah and Nolan; one sister: Anna Srednick, Ft. Lauderdale, FL; several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (GPS 848 Sunflower Road, adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum. His funeral service will be held 12 noon, p.m., Thursday, March 1, 2018 in the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Garden of the Four Gospels, Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
