Katherine “Kaye” Heil, age 86, passed away on Sunday March 4, 2018 in Muskegon. She was born on April 21, 1931 in Muskegon to the late John and Josephine (Durham) Hendricks. Kaye was a member of the Grace Christian Reformed Church. More than anything else she loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved shopping, traveling with her husband and visiting her husband's family in Pennsylvania. She also loved to visit her daughter and her daughter's family in Toledo, Ohio. She was a meticulous housekeeper and gracious hostess. She loved watching Detroit Tigers baseball and doing crossword puzzles. Kaye is survived by her husband Clinton of 66 years, two daughters Deb (Craig) Stenholm and Lisa (Pete) Nagle, a son Dan (Holly), five grandchildren, Jorri (Gary) Smith, Garin, and Ian Heil, Shaun and Amanda Nagle, a great grandson Logan Stenholm, a sister Jane Braddy and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two grandchildren, Nicholas Heil and Louie Stenholm, six brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 11:00am at the Grace Christian Reformed Church, Muskegon. There will be a visitation on Thursday from 5-8 pm at the Ever Rest Funeral Home. Burial will be at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions can be made to Christian Care Nursing Center or Hospice of Michigan.
