Pat was born in Stetsonville, WI, on December 22, 1934 to the late John “Jack” and Esther (nee Sandmeyer) Hosley – the second eldest of four children. On June 24, 1957 Pat married Lorraine Vignalo in St. Paul, where they made their home and had five children. Pat served in the Army from 57-59, and was a proud member of the Local 34. He was an avid outdoorsman, fisherman, hunter, and classic-car collector. He was a pilot and enjoyed fly-in fishing trips to Canada and hunting trips on Joe and Trudy St Onge beautiful land in Idaho. He will be remembered for his rugged charm, sharp wit, and comical poems. Pat used his mechanical and handyman skills to help his neighbors, friends, and community. He devoted many hours to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in St. Paul.
Pat will be lovingly remembered by his Wife of 61 years, Lorraine (nee Vignalo); and his Children, Patricia, Steven (Pamyla), James (Linda), Daniel (Maria), Colleen (Vince) Belmares; and fondly remembered by his Grandchildren, Dane, Orion (Caitlyn), Trevyn, Jacob (Erin), Clayton, Sydney, Quinten, Vinny, Nick, & Gabby Belmares; and Great Grandson, Judah; Step-Grandchildren, Danny (Nicole) Westman, Carrie Westman; Step Great-Grandchildren, Jayze Busche, Hunter, Chase, Addison, & Collin Westman; and by his Brothers, John (Dorothy “Sis”), Mike (Joan); Sister, Margorie Doody; and many Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, March 16, 2018 at St Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church, 550 W. 7th Street, St. Paul, MN with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Graveside committal services will be held at 4 PM at the Hannibal Cemetery, Hannibal, WI.
