Eugene Thomas Jones, 83, of Darlington and formerly of East Liverpool, Ohio went home to be with his Lord on Friday March 2, 2018 at Heritage Beaver Valley Medical Center. He was born December 5, 1934 in Louisville Kentucky, one of seven children to Frank and Clara Jones. Gene proudly served his Country with the U.S. Army, during the Korean War.
Upon returning home, Gene was employed at Crucible Steel in Midland PA where he worked most of his life and eventually retiring. In later years he enjoyed working at the local Walmart keeping busy in the maintenance department assembling items throughout the store.
Gene was an active member of Victory Assembly Church. He enjoyed serving his Lord and sharing his love of God with others.
In addition to his parents, Gene was preceded in death by his wife, Carol McClain Jones in 1997 and all of his siblings, (Dorothy, Frank, Donald, Robert, Rosalee and Patricia).
Gene leaves behind his son: Joshua (Starr) Jones of Wampum, and three grandchildren: Cameron, Alexis and Michael. His quiet presence will be missed by all who loved him.

Military Honors will be presented by members of the Beaver County Special Unit at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, 273 Route 68, Rochester, (adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum).
A Celebration of Life Service will be held immediately following at 11:15 a.m., with his pastor, Rev. John Maruca, officiating. In honor of his wishes, Gene was cremated and will be buried at Grand View Cemetery, Beaver Falls beside his wife.
