Eleanor May Yoho, 91, of New Brighton, passed away April 2, 2018 while under the compassionate care of Good Samaritan Hospice. She was born March 30, 1927 in Beaver Falls, daughter of the late Charles Franklin Yoho and Sara Jane (Colwell) Yoho Ehrenberg.
Eleanor was a graduate of Beaver Falls High School and was employed with Benson’s Department Store in Beaver Falls for twenty years. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, New Brighton for several years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: John Paul Yoho, Howard Yoho, Harold Ehrenberg and a sister: Lila Gill.
Eleanor is survived by her dear friends: Ken and Carole McGuckin, who loved and provided her care for many years; a sister: Evelyn Cavalier, Ellwood City; nephews: Michael Cavalier, Ellwood City; John and Niles Yoho; many cousins and friends.
Friends will be received Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). Her Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m., Friday, April 6, 2018 in the funeral home with Pastor Angela Smith, officiating. Private interment will be in the Garden of the Cross, Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
