Dale was a veteran of the U.S. Army. After working as a mechanic and TV repairman, he worked many years at Arnold Engineering until retirement. Along with his work, he also farmed the family farm for many years, spending hours on the tractor. With his wife, he enjoyed traveling, especially enjoying area county fairs. A quiet man, Dale loved his family, his friends, his home, and his church. Dale was baptized, confirmed, married and a faithful member at Zion Lutheran Church in Marengo. He enjoyed music and westerns to relax indoors, and watching the birds at the bird feeder, and caring for his lawn & plants outdoors. He lived at his home on Grossen Road, named for the family.
