SARAH PETTINGILL MACKESY passed away April 12th,2018 she was a resident of Jacksonville, Fla. She was the founder of the Jacksonville Beach Bop Association many years ago when it was just a thought. She was a participant in the Red Hats Society and a member of the American Legion. She was known for her exemplary skills as a Typist. She worked for Ryder PIE Nationwide for many years and retired with Commercial Fire State Farm. She is survived by her daughters Elizabeth I. Ahearn and Gina H. Warren-Pederson (husband Mike) sisters Josephine Manucy, Shirley Baker, sister-in-law Vickie Pettingill, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Mary Turner and Tammy Force who she thought of as her own as they did of her. Funeral Arrangments will be held at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home on April 17th,2018 beginning with a visitation at 10 am, funeral services at 12pm and committal service to follow. She was the Best mama in the world to us. She will be missed for her beautiful smile ,loving heart and her generosity.We know she is in peace at home now.until we see her again she will be sadly missed and forever in our hearts and thoughts.
