Frances Lois Lofland

Frances Lois Lofland, 85, died of natural causes on May 5th, 2018 at a nursing home in Overland Park, KS. Her visitation will begin at 10am, funeral service at 12pm, Monday, May 14th, 2018 at McGilley & Hoge Chapel followed by her 2:30pm, interment in Leavenworth National Cemetery next to her husband.

Frances was born on September 20, 1932 in Kansas City, MO. She graduated from Central State University in Warrensburg, MO in 1957 with a degree in Education. She married Herman Leroy Lofland on October 5th, 1956 and raised 4 children: Mark (Nancy), Bruce (Deann), Diane and Janet. Herman served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years, and the family lived in many places, finally settling in Overland Park, KS. In addition to her 4 children, she is survived by her grandchildren: Bruce Jr., Christopher, Amanda (Sam), Zach (Amanda), Brittany, Julie, Robert (Kristi) and Stephanie.
