Joe was a smart, generous and kind man who loved adventure. He loved to explore the National Parks and was enthralled by the by the Ghost Town of Oatman, Arizona. Joe was an avid reader, often delving into religious, spiritual and mathematical books. He loved to learn. He spent his career in banking and auditing. He volunteered at Springs Preserve, the Mob Museum and the Blood Bank.
Joe was an Army veteran who served our country in the Vietnam War.
Joe is preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Fe Arca Snyder. He is survived by his oldest daughter Theresa Shegog of Stafford, Virginia, son Joseph Snyder III of Ramona, CA, and his youngest daughter, Michelle Snyder of Oregon. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Richard Frost, Chay Shegog, Anthony Shegog, Gabrielle Garcia, and Jacob Whitener-Snyder.
