Gilbert (Gil) Wayne Hall, age 68, a resident of Denham Springs, LA and native of Singer, LA, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018, at his home after a long illness. He retired from the East Baton Rouge Parish School Board with 30+ years, serving as an electrician and electronics foreman. Gil was an avid outdoorsman that loved fishing in bass tournaments and spending time at their camp on Toledo Bend.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Terry McDonald Hall, two daughters, Melissa Hall McLeod and husband Casey, Jennifer Hall Veillon and husband Justin, five grandchildren, Dylan, Hayleigh, Brendie, McKenzie and Ava, three sisters, Carolyn Hall Nelson and husband Joe, Brenda Hope Anderson and husband Robert, Anita Morris, mother in law, Freda McDonald, two sisters in law, Donna McDonald Dees (John), Traci McDonald Roberts (Steve), brother in law Adrian Gerald McDonald Jr. (Kristy) and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father Walter Gilbert Hall and mother Ruth Windham Hope.
