known by the children of her first marriage as "Saint Catherine." She was born on September
17,1926 to Cecil and Anna Miller of Wichita Falls, Texas. She spent her early years between the
northern part of Texas and California. During WWII she married (now deceased) CMSgt Charles
Clemmons, USAF. This marriage bore four children, Charles Clemmons, wife Joan
and one child, 1st Lt USAF Richard Clemmons who had two children, Catherine Hamilton with three
children and another daughter, Georgann, husband Gary Eaton with three children.
Her second marriage was to Colonel Colin J. N. Chauaret, USAF on October 31, 1980. He
brought into this family nine more children born by his first wife, Madeline Eager, now
deceased. Sharon and her husband, AF Retired Colonel Wm. Boyd Nix, with three children,
daughter Margo and husband Karl Franz, with four children; Reverend Debra Aishman,
deceased husband Otha Aishman and deceased son; son Lt. Col Keith Chauret, USAF Retired and
wife Sheila with two children; son Michael with three children; son Lt. Col Mark Chauret USAF
Retired, wife Patrice, RN with two children; daughter Maria RN, husband Arthur Martinez, MD
with one child; daughter Kateri Chauret with one child; and daughter Mary, husband James
Cannon, with three sons.The combined 13 children brought forth on this earth a total of 29 grandchildren, 39 great- grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. Counting spouses that is a little over 100, filling the Lord's desire to go forth and multiply. Kittye, in her early to late teen years, was a Professional Model, pictures only, along with being a WWII pin up girl in Ufe Magazine. She married Colonel Colin J. N. Chauret, USAF Retired on 31 October 1980. This brought the two families together as one in many get togethers, sometimes, quite large. Kittye and Colin did a lot of traveling after she retired from the local Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union after 11 years in their employ. In eight trips to Europe, they visited Colin's family in England and Wales, along with visiting Colonel Wm. Boyd Nix, USAF and
daughter, Sharon, along with their three daughters-in Germany and Belgium. There were many
other trips to their children in Tuscon, AZ, Baltimore, MD, Williamsburg, VA, Washington, DC,
Nashville, TN, Alpharetta, GA, Valparaiso, FL, Miami, FL and Altus, OK. After Colin turned 90,
they stopped traveling. However, they both kept up their dancing and walking. Kittye and Colin in their own neighborhood for years. After a fall Kittye had four years ago, they transferred all their walking
in the North Star Mall of San Antonio, averaging over four miles a day, day in and day out. Since
they walked during the busy part of the day, they made many friends and were known as, "The
Gruesome Twosome, Colin and Kittye, Good Will Ambassadors to the North Star Mall" Many
thousands of pictures were made of them, distributed over Facebook and other means. Kittye
had covered over 42,000 miles of roadwork during her running, jogging and walking with Colin. A Visitation will be June 18 at 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Rosary at 6:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home at 625 Kitty Hawk Rd., Universal City, TX 78148. Funeral Services will be at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Selma, TX 78154 on 19 June at 11:30 AM. Interment at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1:00 PM. Reception to follow at the Olympia Golf Course in Universal City, TX.
